Dr. Sima Kavand received her medical degree from the prestigious Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed a four-year dermatology residency training in Iran. She completed a research fellowship at the University of Minnesota and an internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Saint Francis Hospital.
She is board certified in internal medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine) and dermatology (Iranian Board of Dermatology).
