A Dallas native, Dr. Usman Asad, MD, received his BS from the University of Texas at Dallas, his MD from Texas Tech University at Lubbock, and completed his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has published in several scientific journals and has been involved in writing textbook chapters throughout medical school and residency.

Dr. Asad is passionate about bringing individualized care to each patient, building rapport, ensuring that they feel heard and satisfied with their care, and developing a personalized treatment plan tailored to their needs. Dr. Sima Kavand received her medical degree from the prestigious Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed a four-year dermatology residency training in Iran. She completed a research fellowship at the University of Minnesota and an internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Saint Francis Hospital.

She is board certified in internal medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine) and dermatology (Iranian Board of Dermatology). With extensive inpatient and outpatient experience, Dr. Kavand enjoys challenging cutaneous manifestations of internal diseases, malignancies, and auto-immune conditions. Dr. Kavand is now scheduling new as well as established patients.
